✽ Kanji is a system of Japanese writing using Chinese characters.

Chinese Kanji Treasure Boxes - Jewelry / Gift Boxes

✽ These little boxes are 
    covered in polymer clay.  

✽ They measure about 3 inches 
    (7cm) across and 1 inch (3cm) 
    tall.

✽ The clay is cut away leaving 
    the chinese kanji symbol 
    open on the glass top.

✽ The colors come from 
    various colors of pigment 
    powders rubbed onto it.  

✽ The edges are stamped with a kanji design.  

✽ The translation is stamped on the back with some room left for a personal message 
    (optional). 

✽ The box is lined with black felt inside.

Available Colors for Treasure Boxes

✽Click on the images above for a larger view.  These photos show the different colors that are available on the Kanji boxes.  They are stamped with letters and labeled with color names.  The circle sample on the left has a pearl colored clay base and the ones on the right have a black colored clay base.  The colors are approximate, they come out a little different every time.

Options for the kanji treasure boxes:

Larger 2 symbol kanji

✽ These boxes are covered in polymer clay 
    and the kanji symbol is cut out.  Then liquid 
    clay is put in the empty space making a 
    slightly raised design.

✽ The translation is stamped near the bottom 
    of the lid.

✽  It measures 3-1/4 inches (8cm) across, 5 
     inches (12.7cm) top to bottom, and 3/4 inch 
    (2cm) tall(deep).

                                                                                     ✽ These are great gift boxed or party favors.

Initial Treasure Box - Gift Box - Party Favors

✽ This one has my initials on it.  

✽ These can be done with initials, a 
    monogram, two initials (eg: A.L. + K.R.) or 
    a simple logo.

✽ More than 2 letters will be smaller.

✽ If you have a favorite font I should be able 
    to use it.

✽ I can stamp a personalized message on the back (several words long).

✽ They would make wonderful wedding or party favors.

✽ There are many options for the edges on this box.  This one has tiny flowers.  It could also be 
    plain, or have another design stamped.  It is also possible to stamp words around the                                                                                       
    edge for even more personalization.
